La brújula verde (The green compass)

–> Visit my blog in Spanish.

I was born in Mieres (Asturias) in 1969. I studied at the Nuestra Señora del Pilar de Pola de Lena school until I was 13 years old. After that, I studied at the Bernaldo de Quirós Institute of Mieres. In 1988, I entered the Faculty of Economic Sciences at the University of Oviedo. I left the following year. I graduated from Geography and History (specialized in Art History) from the University of Oviedo in 1993. In 1995, I passed the Researcher aptitude test with the highest grade with a paper on the architect Juan Miguel de la Guardia (still unpublished). I am also a Graduate in English from the Official Languages School of Oviedo and an Expert in Biotechnology from the University of Oviedo.

I am married to Mónica and I have three sons: Guille, Rafa and Adri.

In 1998, I started to work as an online librarian for the Oviedo online libraries. In 2008, it went wrong. Fortunately, in 2005 I was introduced to the world of blogs, in particular, La Brújula Verde. I was also the editor of Diario del Viajero, Hipersonica, Applesfera and Papel en blanco, all Weblogs SL blogs.

I’ve been a professional blogger since 2008, creating and maintaining blogs for companies such as Vuelos Baratos and eDreams. Currently, I also write for Move Your Mind.

My small network of blogs, the Brújula Verde site, already has a good handful of specialized blogs where I talk about my passions: the Internet, Apple and Mac computers, the iPhone, literature, history, poetry, film, soccer (despite living in Oviedo, I follow mierense and Gijón sports), ecology, photography and many other things.

Since 2008, I’ve been collaborating with, El Comercio Digital the oldest newspaper in Asturias.
