I like to know our legacy in order to value it and protect it, protect it to preserve it, and preserve it to enjoy it. Certainly because of this is that I am a Geography and History graduate, a Doctor, naturalist, and above all, a journalist.

My passion for nature has taken me from the cold land of Burgos, in the north of Spain, which is where I was born, to the warm lands of the Canary Islands. I currently live and work in Fuerteventura, the closest island to Africa and, in my opinion, the most beautiful one of the whole archipelago.

Being an apprentice of everything and a teacher of nothing is for me more of an honor than a sin. My blog, La Crónica Verde, attempts to be equally as general, an open window to the fields, an environmental observatory aware of life’s course. It is also a place to complain about abuse and welcome good news.
