Luis Alfonso Gámez is a Colomnist for the Correo de Bilbao newspaper where he has covered Information Sciences for eight years. Founder of the Círculo Escéptico, he is a Consultant for The Committee for Skeptical Inquiry, the largest scientific organization dedicated to the study of the extraordinary. He was the Coordinator of the collective works Misterios a la luz de la ciencia (2008), published by the University of País Vasco in which distinguished scientists study the possiblility of extraterrestrial life and the existence of monsters, amongst other subjects, from a skeptical point of view. He has maintained the Magonia blog since June of 2003 which is dedicated to the critical analysis of alleged paranormal mysteries.
