The Traveller’s Journal: Víctor Alonso

If I had to sum myself up in one word, it would be “Explorer”. It’s now 4 years since I left my professional career in the business world to follow my 2 great passions and fulfill 2 dreams: to travel and write. I am among those who believe that the essence of man is nomadism. I like to travel without watches, to cross countries and continents using local transport and avoiding airplanes. I consider that the people we cross on our journeys around the world are the great undiscovered treasures. A recurring thought of mine: “In twenty years time you will be more sorry for the things you did not do, than for the things you did do, so push your boundaries, catch the wind in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover”. Mark Twain. Without doubt, life is the greatest journey we undertake. Happy sailing!
