La bibliothèque de Arash Derambarsh (Arash Derambarsh’s library)

My name is Arash Derambarsh. I was born July 25, 1979 in Paris 13th arrondissement.

My parents fled the Islamic regime so that my twin brother and I can live in democracy, secularism and in a Republic. I did not grow up with a silver spoon in my mouth but with lots of love and values.

I successively worked in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Interior and was a parliamentary assistant to a member of Parliament from 2005 to 2006. Today, I head the policies and public figures department for Cherche Midi publishing house. I’m lucky to be able to give voice to people who “move the lines”, even if I don’t always share their opinions.

I have convictions and I am interested in international politics, like American or Iranian politics. My favorite quote is: “This is not because things are difficult that we do not dare… it is because we do not dare that they are difficult”. (Seneca)
