I entered the computing field, by accident, more than 30 years ago, and… I am still in it !
In 2006, I started Reverol with Laurent Gasser.
We have the ambition to help organizations, of all sizes, all sectors, all countries, succeed in building Information Systems which are efficient, economical and flexible.
Totally independent from all vendors, I have the “bad” habit to try to find the cheapest, most reasonable, fastest and most economical solutions.
I take a daily dose of two hours of technological watch, at a minimum, thanks to the Internet. I don’t have any merit, because I am passionate about innovation, about the capacity of thousands of small or large organizations to come up, every day, with wonderful new products or services. The Web 2.0 wave, which started in 2005, will accelerate this flow of innovations ; that’s good news !
Fully involved in my job, I have also the willingness to share my enthousiam and my knowledge of IT potentials with everyone. Thousands of managers and IT professionals have participated in seminars I run in-house.
I did it in French, Spanish and English in more than 35 different countries !
Magazines like 01 Informatique or Le monde Informatique have allowed me to publish numerous articles (in French) where I share my ideas, my feelings, in a very direct style ! This gave me numerous occasions of exchanges with readers who, often, didn’t share my views.
One of my ambitions is to help emerging countries accelerate their human and economical development with the help of “low cost” Internet solutions. In a process which I have named “alphaNetisation”, they could, in less than 10 years, catch up with more developed countries. Microsoft has just created a new economical tool to access the Internet, the Cyber10, which allows ten people to share a PC and an Internet access.
