BlogSicilia (www.blogsicilia.it) is a network of blogs for Sicilians, one for each province and committed to the purpose of diffusing citizen journalism on the island. It promotes the active collaboration of users through the sharing of opinions, photographs and videos. The network was created by serverstudio web marketing and design, in collaboration with the I-Generation association.

The fundamental characteristic of the communication project BlogSicilia is its emphasis on participation; the network is seen as a type of free and democratic open space in which each user can be a part of the discussion, either by playing the part of blogger or commentator.
