I write because it’s both my passion and my job. I’m a journalist for Rai and an author of books aiming to popularize all things digital for Mondadori Informatica and Sperling&Kupfer. Since I am a long-time coverer of the Balkans, I host the weekly program EstOvest (formerly Levante), which airs every Sunday at 11:00 on RaiTre. I’m a member of the UGIS, the Italian Union of Scientific Journalists. From 1995 to 2010 I was the regional and national chancellor of the Order of Journalists.

I’ve always been passionate about the digital world. Like many I got started with an old Commodore and since then I’ve never stopped hitting the keys. I started visiting online bulletin boards (BBS) with my first 2400-bit/s modem and then pilfering my friends’ accounts, I discovered the Web.
