Politics is everywhere. If I blog about anything at all, it’s finding the politics in everything, from Ikea tables, musical instruments and things that people say and do every day. I try to provoke ideas and questions, and if I can challenge conventional wisdom. I never accept, “But that’s the way things are” as a good answer for anything.

I make my living doing bits of writing for the Guardian newspaper, and when that’s not enough I do a bit of web design, too. I live in Yorkshire, England. There’s nothing else to do.

I also write about Doctor Who. Sometimes.
